We held our annual Shrove Tuesday pancake race on Tuesday 5th March 2019. The whole school were involved in family group relay races. Well done to Deer who won by a very impressive margin! The children all enjoyed a fresh pancake afterwards!
Well done to both Robins and Chaffinches classes who performed beautifully in their plays 'Whoops-a-Daisy Angel' and 'Lights, Camel, Action!' They were absolutely wonderful as always.
Chaffinches joined up with children from year 3 classes in our cluster schools on Friday to attend a workshop with author Liz Million. They really enjoyed the afternoon and gained an insight into the life of an author and illustrator. Liz shared some handy tips for drawing facial expressions and creating characters which the children will be putting to good use next week when they create their own stories.
