GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS (GDPR)
GDPR Mind Map Video for Parents
On the 25 May 2018, the UK’s Data Protection Act 1998 is being replaced by a new law called the GDPR (the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016). It regulates the way that Data Controllers, such as Urchfont Primary School, process personal data about people (pupils, parents, employees etc) and the legal rights that individuals have in relation to that data.
We’re taking steps to review and up date our processes around how we are handling your information and have appointed an external Data Protection Officer, to help us get ready for the changes. Please click on the links below for further information.
