On Sunday 11^th September, seven Urchfont pupils sold strawberry (and one tomato!) plants at Urchfont food festival. Some of the plants were grown by pupils at the school and some were kindly donated by parents. We raised £32.59, which will now go to improving the school garden even more. We were judged at the festival by a Masterchef finalist, who awarded us a close second place. Next year we aim to have more variety in our plants in order to win- well done to Five Lanes School who had strawberry, raspberry and blackberry plants. Thank you to the children who helped on the day, you were excellent sellers! Also thank you to all the parents who supported us with the event.
